Greatly enjoyed the place, had a really really nice stay in September. The personnel was amicable and amazingly nice. The bed was extremely comfy, the room was functional and modern with a comfortable bed. Central heating, an iron, and an electronic key card were good. I found the hotel's location great, short walk to the restaurant, the centre and the Manor House Property, rooms where clean and comfortable. And it was a 10-15 minute walk from Julie's Sandwich Place, ate there couple of times.

Would stay here again, a really really nice stay in September. This is a trendy boutique clean hotel providing perfectly clean rooms. It boasts good and perfect location close to shops pubs and eateries, the river and the large restaurant, which is also open to non-residents and which proved quite popular.

Booked the hotel for its great location very close to food outlets, and the local attractions. Tried some takeout specials at Diamond Takeaway, luckily it was at a medium distance from the venue.

The location was great and ideal, we were minutes away from the heart of Cockermouth.

Lovely and incredible setting, adjacent to Cockermouth, parking, staff and the breakfast, centre of Cockermouth almost opposite Wordsworth House and close to shops and cafes and all bars, restaurants and clubs.

Had a lovely time. I enjoyed that the hotel was spacious, romantic with a really great service. Excellent and perfect location knowledgeable on the local area made it easy to get to key attractions. Had nice dainties at Wild Zucchinis Bistro, located just close to the property.

My stay was lovely in September. The breakfast with home made jams, homemade preserves and home-made bread was hot and delicious, had so much to choose from. The staff was very attentive plus the location was excellent. Also, the hotel was set at a moderate distance from Isel Hall.
